Pre-Wedding Shape Up!

Well we are down to the wire! Less than 2 months until Jeremy and I celebrate our wedding together... AND it is looking like my dress is not going to fit. YIKES! My excuses are that I have not been feeling the best with dealing with my thyroid disorder AND adrenal fatigue. I guess that is still not an excuse for letting myself gain 8 POUNDS since OCTOBER!! Time to shape up and I'm going to use this blog to do it! I'm going to do a 45 days to fit challenge. I will share with you my *GASP* beginning weight, food journal, daily exercises, and weigh myself weekly. I love a good challenge!! Even thought I am not going to start my official food journal until tomorrow, I am listing my start weight and body measurements. Are you ready to see them?! Here we go...

YIKES! I remember in the summer of 2008 when I was working out I weighed 143. My goal is to drop 2 lbs a week. There is about 7 weeks until the wedding, so would it be stretching it to want to lose 15lbs? My goal is to alternate different workout dvds at home, since it is hard to get to the gym with Jada and I have been doing a lot of babysitting lately. This way there are no excuses!

Review of J & J Photography

Sooo it has been a very long time since we have had family pictures taken. By long time, it has been over 2 years! Jeremy and I weren't even married then! Wowsers... Jeremy didn't really want pictures done because his hair is kind of wild because he is growing it out to do braids-lol. I didn't want to go to JCPenney's because I always seem to be disappointed in their pictures. I'm not into the posed looks nor do I appreciate shelling out over $100 bucks for pictures that I don't LOVE. I found J & J Photography when a lovely young lady from church recently got married. I noticed her gorgeous wedding pictures in my Facebook feed that morning and almost had a heart attack when I saw them! They were just that AMAZING! So I thought to myself, "I wonder if they do family pictures?" I looked them up and sure enough, they do just about everything from weddings, engagements, seniors, maternity, and family pictures. Everything looked amazing. What was even better was when I saw how reasonably priced they are! The plus is that you get copyrights to your pictures and you can print off as many as you want, whereever you want because they sign a release. For a very reasonable price, you get a 1-2 hour session at a location of your choice in Bismarck AND you get 2 photographers! So here are some of the pictures that they did from my family's session. My Very First Blog, what a feat!

Well today I enter the world of blogging. I had contemplated starting up a blog in the past year but with having a new baby, working, and trying to keep my home in order, let us just say that it did not happen. This past year has been crazy busy but through it my faith in Jesus Christ has kept me going. My inspiration for starting this blog is my sister-in-law, Holly. She told me that blogs are something that smart people do. :) I guess that got me thinking, Hey, I'm a pretty smart person! She knows that I'm thoroughly addicted to Facebook and could be doing something smarter, ameh more productive with my time. So I'm going to try it out! I hope to be able to share my love of health and wellness, as well as different baby related topics. Some of my biggest interests include supplements, healthy foods, cooking healthy, recipes, and other topics in that area. I also love anything that involves babies since I have a 9 month old who keeps me very busy at the moment. I am a self proclaimed fluff addict meaning I cloth diaper my daughter full time and am constantly buying/trying new/different types of cloth diapers. So I'm hoping through this blog to share information on topics that are interesting, do reviews of products, and also do some giveaways! I welcome all of you to my crazy world!
